The Made In Colorado Shoppe was started in 1990 by Lois & Allan Higgins. It is located on Highway 160, the main highway in southern Colorado, about halfway between downtown Pagosa Springs and the Fairfield Pagosa resort. From the day we began the Made In Colorado Shoppe we gave our business to God and He continues to bless it with wonderful customers who return year after year to become good friends. Many years ago we realized that folks on vacation generally like to take something home to remember that vacation, and they like these mementos to be made in the area they are visiting. When it became apparent that no one in Pagosa Springs was focusing exclusively on Colorado products we began to look around to see what craftsmen in Colorado were producing. The results were very exciting and it has been a wonderful adventure ever since.
