Meet the Artist

June 30th, 2011 - David Behrens - What a joy it was to watch David working on his latest design, an eagle.

In the summer of 2010 we introduced the Meet the Artist program and it was a huge and resounding success. Each Thursday from July to early August a different artist demonstrates his/her particular craft, giving the public a chance to see how many of our amazing products are made. If you will be in our area during any of these times we invite you to join us for a day of education and fun.

July 5 - George & Audrey Heiny, B & B Glass, Broomfield - glassblowers

July 12 - Liz Meyer, Rocky Mountain Leaf, Littleton - aspen leaf jewelry

July 19 - Marcia Kmack, Cave Creek Glassworks, Pagosa Springs - lampwork beads

July 26 - Denny Rose, aka Carol Fulenwider, Pagosa Springs - water colorist

Aug 2 - Barbara Forrest, Antonito - water colorist


July 21st, 2011 - Marcia Kmack - Returning by popular demand this year, Marcia enjoys demonstrating how she makes her amazing glass beads.

July 28th, 2011 - Denny Rose - aka Carol Fullenwider - Folks were delighted to watch this water color master at work.

July 7th, 2011 - George & Audrey Heiny - They wowed them last year, and they wowed them again this year!

July 14th, 2011 - Curtis Rowland - repleat with leather kilt, Curtis fascinated the audiences with his fire, melting and pouring his copper jewelry.
